Seminars

The Center For Public Safety offers multiple seminars per year. If you are considering a new or remodeled public safety facility, the Public Safety Facilities Planning Seminar will provide you with must-have details needed for planning, funding, and obtaining new public safety facilities.

The seminar’s educational sessions feature a variety of speakers - each subject matter experts in their field, valuable resources, as well as educational materials you can utilize to plan for your facility. It will take you through a step-by-step process from initial planning to construction completion.

The correctional facilities planning seminar is designed for Sheriffs, corrections directors and command staff, county administration, elected and tribal officials and public safety sector employees only.

If you are contemplating a new or remodeled facility or facilities, this is the seminar for you. The seminar is designed to follow the organic flow of a project from conception to building completion. The material is presented to help “project managers” better understand the selection, design and construction process, avoid pitfalls and answer questions. Our goal is to provide you a road map for your project success.

This seminar features not only classroom instruction but takes attendees on a tour of a nationally recognized correctional facility.
